I seriously hate watching Alex playing. He seriously over thinks every shot and makes it a problem. His composure sucks. He walks around the table more than anyone ive ever seen and pouts at the table. Its just disrespectful honestly. The announcers shouldn’t have to comment on a professional players composure. I definitely think he got lucky with Shane giving him games.

What a great match, hill hill for a 10 – 9 Victory. I saw this guy Pagulayan play in person many years ago in Michigan, he is an incredible player. I saw him fire in pool balls on a snooker table. He even banked the q-ball 3 rails with his foot and made a ball. That's right with his foot, not a cue stick, he is awesome.

16:23 is one of the best shots of all time. Seems simple, but it reflects an incredible level of cue ball control. Yes Alex makes mistakes elsewhere, but this shot is impressive – and not because of the bank. For Alex the bank is childs play. It is the draw to an exact position.

Hello, can someone explain why, after the opening foul in the last round, the cue ball wasn't placed behind the head string and the shot was not directed outward the head string? All of the rules I could find and played along say that if the cue ball is potted during the break, the opponent has a ball in hand, but he has to place it within head string and shoot up the table.

One question here folks: At 2:05:50 SVB does a foul by scratching the break. According to the rules Alex should have ball-in-hand behind the head string, but the referee is not considering the head string, Alex goes from the middle of the table. Why is that? Thanks!

Would love to see 8-ball tournaments use the take what you make rule off the break…that would make it tougher to run out & make it more interesting
These announcers are trash. You can tell they are the "HIT and HOPE for the best" type players. No appreciation for the game. A good announcer would talk about the options, risk, strategy, fear, likelihood of execution, what they're thinking, etc. These guys are really yawning with no conception of whats at stake; like its a bar game or something. Really not qualified. Would love to see their credentials.

In my opinion, Alex is normally a very calculating player. But, I think he over-thought himself during this match. He played that like a one-pocket match.

One question here folks: At 2:05:50 SVB does a foul by scratching the break. According to the rules Alex should have ball-in-hand behind the head string, but the referee is not considering the head string, Alex goes from the middle of the table. Why is that? Thanks!

12.07.2022These announcers are trash. You can tell they are the "HIT and HOPE for the best" type players. No appreciation for the game. A good announcer would talk about the options, risk, strategy, fear, likelihood of execution, what they're thinking, etc. These guys are really yawning with no conception of whats at stake; like its a bar game or something. Really not qualified. Would love to see their credentials.
